The space industry can provide a new model for European countries to buy defence products together, according to Iceye, the Finnish maker and operator of satellites.

Iceye’s satellites use synthetic aperture radar technology to generate surveillance imaging that can be delivered whatever the weather, day or night.

Governments can opt to lease Iceye’s satellites or buy their own for their exclusive use.
